Choosing the right bathroom showers and shower stalls can make all the difference

If you are considering doing some bathroom remodeling in your home, there are a number of fantastic bathroom designs to consider.  Often, the main focuses of a bathroom are the vanities, soaker tubs, and shower stalls.  Other things to consider include bathroom fixtures, mirrors and tile.  Coordinating these properly with your vanities, shower stalls and tubs can create a room in your home that will be your oasis.  When most people are shopping for a new home, they concentrate their efforts on 3 specific areas in the house.  These include the kitchen, bathrooms and master bedroom.  So when you are doing home renovations, these are the 3 rooms where you should spend the bulk of your money.  Not only will you be thrilled with your newly renovated home, you are more likely to increase the value of your home significantly with an investment in these areas.  One of the key features to focus on in the bathrooms is the showers.

The right shower stalls can make all the difference in the world to the appeal of the room.  Many people are opting for glass shower enclosures with frameless doors or no doors for that matter.  A frameless door can provide many appealing features including optimal light into the shower, along with a clean, contemporary look and feel to the bathroom.  You will also notice in newer homes that the bathroom showers have gotten substantially larger and made of tile.  Now if you are adding a bathroom to your basement, you can save some money by installing an acrylic shower enclosure versus a glass one.  They are very functional but are considerably cheaper in price.

Whichever shower stalls you select is fine, the important part is to try and match up your bathroom hardware throughout.  If you have brushed nickel drawer pulls for instance, try and stick with that finish on your bathroom faucets and lighting.  This will help keep a unified look and feel to the room.  Some people like to mix silver and brass or gold fixtures, however, our preference is to keep them the same as they tend to look more coordinated.  Just remember these few simple rules regarding your bathroom fixtures and bathroom showers and your new design will come out looking great.
