Choosing the perfect matching bath mats

When the construction of your new bathroom is completed, it is now time to decorate.  Trying to put together the right combination of bath mats, shower curtains, towel racks and towels can be challenging.  Getting the perfect style and quality that fits your budget can be difficult.  What do you buy first?  Well we believe that you don’t buy your bath mats first and here’s why.

More than likely, your shower curtain will contain the most colors, unless of course you choose a solid one.  We highly recommend you decide on your shower curtain which often is a focal point and work outwards.  Next, pick out your towels and bath mats.  You can often find a brand that offers the same color in both.  This will make it very easy for you.

Once you have your towels and bath mats, start looking for your sink accessories such as soap holder, cup and cream dispenser.  Now these don’t have to be a perfect color match to the towels, but we do recommend that you get something very close.  Often they are not right up against the towels so a slight color variation is just fine.
